More than just a great business - helping to build sustainable homes, businesses and communities
Sustainabode was started in 2008 with the vision of offering services and products to help Australian households, businesses, government and non-government organisations to reduce their use of energy and water resources to help combat climate change.
Initially, the company focused on providing energy and water consulting services, as well as participation in the Green Loans scheme. From this work, the company directors saw that there was a significant gap for a business that could provide affordable solutions to the market. As such, Sustainabode's product range has grown from simply offering services to also offer quality solar power, LED lighting, solar hot water solutions, and a range of other products aimed at cutting the use of our precious energy and water resources.
With the major growth in solar power in Australia, Sustainabode's solar division has also grown from serving just the Perth metropolitan area to include regional West Australia, Adelaide and surrounds, Brisbane and surrounds and also Melbourne and surrounds giving us an almost national reach with more installer locations being added every month.
Sustainabode sources it's solar products from local distributors, giving our customers an added layer of warranty protection compared to those companies who import directly from China. The local distributor is the one who backs up the product warranty, making it alot easier for our customers to get issues resolved quickly and easily.
Sustainabode's services division also continues to perform strongly, having provided consultancy for local governments, private schools and businesses. These include energy and water auditing, NABERS audits and the ability to provide advice and auditing for the EnviroCert program. Through this work, we have provided recommendations which have literally saved thousands of dollars and many tonnes of carbon emissions.
Throughout out history Sustainabode has been proud to be an Australian owned and operated company. And while the scope of our operations has changed, the vision still remains helping households, businesses and communities to live more sustainably.
